Fabulous room everything you needed maybe a couple of robes as we forgot ours

We stayed for evening meal mine was awful but we didn’t have to pay and a free glass of wine but had to share my partners burger

Beautiful location, ideal for walks or a drive to nearby towns , wonderful welcome, great staff and a fabulous Italian chef cooking the meals , we will definitely return

No issues

We arrived on a Sunday after the kitchen had closed. We wondered if there could be some cold food. The cook - Simone I think his name is - is from Italy, and my goodness, he made us the best lasagna and home made bread I've ever tasted. Absolutely delicious. Yes, of course, it's in Elsdon, which is in the middle of nowhere. But that's a feature not a bug. The room we had was the family room, and it was spacious and warm. Lovely breakfast too.

Of course we know it is effectively part of a pub, so there is going to be a bit of noise. But in our case it went silent from 10pm so no real complaints to be honest.

Great location friendly staff and good food

Nothing all perfect

The room was cosy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was lovely. The bar with its log burners was a warm and relaxing place to sit after being out exploring the local places. All in all its a lovely place to stay.

There was nothing to dislike

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They couldn't have done more to make our stay a happy one. Our suite was very comfortable. We look forward to returning.
