In Stone House

Beautiful property, rooms were nicely decorated and communal spaces were also very luxurious. The roof terrace was amazing. The staff were very warm and friendly. Breakfast was incredible, nice variety and the woman who cooks makes a fresh surprise daily. She’s a credit to the company.

The only thing we didn’t like is that there seems to be a miscommunication with the payments to the hotel direct. On the last day of your stay we were told that payment had to be done in cash. There was a card machine that was used to pay for the room at our arrival, however for other payments (extra breakfast, cappuccino, ATV excursion and airport transfers) it was cash only. We ended up walking 4kms to Göreme and 4kms back under the rain to find an ATM since the one in the village wasn’t working (and we informed them about this) Spending our last night at the hotel drying our clothes with the hair drying wasn’t the ideal plan.

I had a wonderful stay here, the room was big with a very comfortable bed, small and delicious breakfast and the staff super friendly!

we couldn't ride the hot air balloon because of strong wind. However, we're able to spend a fulfilling time to join horse riding tour and walk the ruins near the hotel.

The floor of the shower room was shallow and the water overflowed into the bath room.

In Stone House is a delightful find in Goreme. The staff's warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They gave us advice on where to eat traditional food, and what tourist attractions were worth it. You can also exchange currency in the hotel. The room was nice, it was well-designed and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location was perfect because it gave us the opportunity to explore the village of Cavusin, which was really beautiful and not just touristic. The terrace was perfect for chilling at night and also to watch the hot air balloons. There is also a trail really close to the hotel which you can take to see the hot air balloons. Overall, a charming and convenient choice for a stay in.

The hosts were super friendly and nice. Helped us book some tours, and also let us use the common areas after check out so that we would await our departure time.

Such a beautiful place to stay with if you're looking for a relaxing getaway in Cappadocia. The village the House is located in is quite small but there is a nice hiking trail to get to an old stone church behind the House. Some nice restaurants in the area as well. The host and staff were very kind and helpful. The stars of the show were the 3 month old kittens who loved to play around with me. The host helped me book my buses for the next day and provided me with useful information on how to get around the region easily. The room and bathroom were incredibly clean and felt luxurious. Breakfast was divine and had many options. I was able to satisfy my caffeine fix with the around the clock tea and coffee service, which was a really nice touch. Many hiking trails in the area. A must stay if you are looking for a quiet, affordable luxurious location to enjoy all that Cappadocia has to offer.
