In Stone House

Perfect location outside of busy Goreme but still super convenient for all the excursions. Loved the central courtyard and roof terrace. Nice breakfast, good variety. Lovely bathroom and comfy bed. Helpful and friendly staff

Lack of Aircon in the room. We were woken up every morning by the early-morning call to prayer as the local mosque is just across the street. The name of the place gives the impression that it's in a cave, but it isn't. Laundry cost was a little steep @ €10

The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and generous. The room was immaculate and clean. The bed and pillows were so comfy and the entire hotel was super cute and aesthetically pleasing.

Unfortunately there was no a.c. but I should have read whether or not that was included and I didn’t. We asked for a fan and the staff provided us with one extremely quickly!

The staff and accommodation was absolutely incredible. We loved the fact that we were slightly out of town which ment it was nice and quiet! You can see all the balloons on the terrace flying over the accommodation... The Turkish breakfast spread was out of this world.

An aircon in the summer would be amazing! It was really hot but it didn't take away from the experience

Our stay here was amazing, from the rooftop terrace to the delicious breakfast. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. The balloon take off site is just on the other side of the ridge so you can see the balloons fly over from 5:30-7:00am. The staff helped us book a balloon ride with Atmosfer Balloons and we had a great experience. They also help book ATVs ride and other activities. The woman in charge of breakfast was incredibly caring and thoughtful, bringing us freshly cooked dishes to go along with the buffet spread. She even brought us dinner one night. Make sure to visit the restaurant across the street from the hotel (Konak) it has great, homemade food at extremely reasonable prices and the owner is very sweet. The property was also home to adorable kittens which were very playful. Overall, this property was everything we expected and more.

No AC in the rooms but keeping the windows open allowed for a nice breeze and it got cool at night so sleeping was no issue.

Very kind and humble owner. He speaks English and French which it's very helpful for all tourists. He always provided his support and any information needed with kindness & professionalism. Highly recommend 👍👍

There was no AC in all rooms which was really bad with this hot weather!

The hotel is very nice, as are the owners and staff, who were very helpful. Location is good and much quieter than the very touristic Göreme. You can make noce walks from Cavusin and it is only 2-3 km form Göreme for other visits/excursions. Breakfast was great, and we had decent simple & cheap dinners in the little restaurant opposite the hotel.

It was very hot and there's no airco. But a ventilator was provided which saved us.

The host was amazing at this hotel! He went above and beyond to help us with recommendations or translation. The breakfast was phenomenal and the rooms were extremely comfortable.

I had such a beautiful stay at the In Stone House. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the hotel's terrace had amazing views and in the morning you can see the balloons, the take off place was also very near. I didn't travel with pets, but I was happy to see that they allow them in the hotel and that they care for the animals, the cats have bowls of water and food and there were some playful kittens as well on the property. The hospitality was amazing, the owner, Bulent speaks very good English and is super helpful, he gave me some hiking tips and borrowed the map as well for my hike. Filiz cooks the most amazing and fresh breakfast, with different dishes everyday. The location is on a quiet street, with views to the Cavusin castle (great spot to watch the balloons in the morning, they came very close to the top of the castle) and you can walk from the hotel to hike the famous Rose and Red Valleys. Totally recommended the place! Many thanks to all the staff for a wonderful time!
