Bird In Hand

The room was quite spacious same as the bathroom. Bed was clean but unfortunately there was a lot of dust. On the main corridor we could smell tobacco but this wasn't the stuff fault.The lady at the bar was lovely and very welcoming. I guess for the last moment booking it wasn't bad but small upgrade on the carpet and general cleaning would do the magic. Very good area with local shops plus free parking space. Very convenient as for a last moment booking. Lovely area✨️

Dust in places and some missing parts in drawers.

Floors where dirty showers where dirtier spiders everywhere window where left open don't know how long and the rain was coming through the window bed and side table where wet

Good sized, clean comfortable room with little en suite bathroom. There was a kettle in our room with plenty of coffee, really and sugar. Plenty of parking space too.

The landlady and staff we saw were lovely The bedding was clean and the bed was comfy

The rooms weren't clean extremely out dated, the carpets and floors were sticky Net curtains were ripped and the draw curtains were hard to close,it was a shared bathroom and the toilet was shocking with dirty sticky floors

No food other than pub snacks. I should have checked that . Unfortunately no restaurant with I walking distance, only takeaways. So I had drive several miles to a restaurant.

Absolutely nothing

It was disgusting, how it’s allowed to be a hotel room, I will never know, We have stayed in so many over the years but this was definitely the worst, I seriously don’t know how they approved it. This is where we start, the entrance door, does it really look appealing to a guest even before you set foot in. !!!!!!! The stair carpet was disgusting and bannister so dirty looking, then the hallway when you enter is so narrow and dingy, I don’t understand that you can’t see all of this. The bath had hairs wrapped around the sink and stained, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned on the lid of seat and also the top of toilet cistern covered in dust. The piping around skirting board was dirty, have you looked at the chest of drawers in bedroom with a missing drawer and broken drawers, my husband opened the top drawer of locker and the front part came off in his hand, the carpets were filthy not been hoovered for weeks I imagine, what do I say about the curtains???? All through the night there were people guessing going to toilet with the light coming in through the door and a most annoying person with the tv on still hearing it at 2.00am, we barely slept. The kettle was disgusting covered in thick dusk and staining, the cups were “ gritty” at the bottom and the lamp was an absolute joke. I am going to give a review on Booking. Com as I wouldn’t want them to go through the same experience. We also have video and photos . Unbelievable!!!
