Location and quietness

Could be abit cleaner toilet facilities

The bar was OK no food

Carpets need change bathroom was dirty sink covered in hair someone had a shave toilet dirty

Pleasant bar staff, decent bar and beer garden and decent price beer

I had planned to eat here but i dont think they were doing food and tripadvisor food reviews put me off so settled for a tesco meal deal. Cleanliness was poor especially on stairs and room carpet. The ensuite was like a caravan plastic moulding very dated and took ages for hot water in the morning. The curtains were transparent meaning at 5am the bedroom was fully lit.

From the outside nice old pub. My room hadn't been updated for years. Dangerously exposed double point and kettle wiring.

Close to other things in the village, I have stayed here before so I already knew it was rough and ready. At least the lovely lady upgraded my room to an en suite but still shared a toilet where the last user left it dirty.

Car parking, friendly people in the pub and good bar staff

Dull, dirty, broken and I fell unlucky to have a group of people in the next room loud until 2-3am (mid week) Broken sink with a hole, stained bedding, red and brown marks/stains on the towel in one room. Broken light in a second
