Fabulous room and the battered haddock I had for tea was the best I've ever had at a pub let alone a restaurant - and I've had loads. Fresh that day and held its shape inside a very crispy exterior thin treacle brown batter. No flaking to bits like thawed frozen fillets that outlets advertised as fresh. Outstanding.

Alarm right outside our room over the pub went off twice in the early hours due to a power cut and lasted 20 minutes each time. No one on site to switch it off so not sure what the procedure would be if something more serious might occur

The staff need training, for breakfast we booked for 815, served at 9.15 and my wife's order was wrong !!

Probably the best hotel room we have ever stayed in.

Evening meal prices were a little on the high side but lovely food.

Great room with very pleasant finishings and immaculate when we arrived. Staff were very helpful and friendly, very accommodating of our dog.

Great village location with the pub at the heart of it offering all the amenities you need. The room was spacious, clean with a very comfortable bed.
