"Great place to stay apart from.."

A very quiet village (no shops other pubs etc.) Location excellent for touring round Northumberland.

Dogs allowed in main eating area. Maybe a separate dining area for those with dogs (or those without)

"Pleasant pub but food mediocre."

Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Food wasn’t very good overall, and we waited an hour for breakfast due to staff shortages. Our room was above the pub so very noisy.

"We had a lovely meal in the evening in the Apple Inn dining room. The breakfast was good and there was a lot of choice."

The bed was huge and comfortable, shower was amazing and the water was plentiful and hot.

Everything was good, no complaints
