Shepherd's Hut with own fenced garden for the dog.

Advertised as dog friendly but it would have been nice to be given details of local dog walks. Dog friendly means more than a jar of dog treats on the bar.

We stayed in the shepherd huts that were cosy but well appointed and clean. Good value for money. Nice breakfast and extremely polite and attentive staff.

WiFi strength is poor… apparently a North-East problem beyond Apple Inn’s control.

Very nice location. Beautiful little village. The bedroom and bathroom were both lovely. Dog friendly and the staff were nice. We rented a room and a shepherds hut. Great breakfast

The property was excellently located for all major sites The property was very clean as was the surrounding village very dog friendly, though we didn’t take ours. Facilities were very good as was the food, with good choice. Room was large and great value for money Would definitely stay there again when in the area

The only slight picky point was the room we stayed in was above the main bar area and the staff pumped up the volume a bit much when clearing up. Had a word and they rectified.

Very clean and comfortable breakfast was delicious

Dinner - very good, Breakfast - very good, room very good too :) From arriving to departure, all the staff were excellent, polite, professional and has smiles on their faces.
