A really lovely room and bathroom - spacious, comfortable and perfect.

Extremely nice pub/hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Accomodation was amazing with bedroom, lounge and a massive bathroom that had a bath and shower. The location is close to the motorway.

Room was a little noisy until the restaurant underneath closed but then it was fine.

A beautiful, comfortable, exceptionally clean room with lots of extra touches. Quality teas and coffee machine with homemade shortbread biscuits. Toiletries were the bath house and bath salts for the roll top bath were greatly appreciated. The staff were so warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make my stay perfect. The food was first class with quality ingredients used for breakfast and evening meals (I didn’t have lunch). Very dog friendly with a small charge for the stay (not per night). I was away on my own for the first time and was well looked after by all the staff. Thank you. Lovely walk around Farleton Fell on the door step.

So many things had been thought of thoroughly. The decor is very tasteful and finished off to a very high spec. The layout and design of the building was great. The bedroom was brilliant, a great coffee machine, comfy bed, and elegant bathroom with roll top bath. I loved that so much consideration had gone into sourcing local products from the soap in the bathroom to the butter at breakfast. I loved that the music in the restaurant area was sophisticated and not too quiet, that says a lot! The food was great and the service throughout was excellent.

The only negative comment I can make was that there wasn't much choice for vegetarian and vegan options. The deconstructed Jaffa cake was nice but there was too much going on and it was overwhelming. The cake could be half the depth and the ice-cream could be chocolate.

On arrival staff were lovely ... room was amazing and ensuite incredible. Coffee and tea facilities in the room. Bed very comfortable. Dinner delicious and had a table at the fire.
