Great steak night, lovely service. Five stars deserved for the service and detail in the room.

I was in the cheapest room above the kitchen, which was fine - traffic and building an extension are a bit of a disruption. One meal was great, the second average.

Good breakfast. ideal location for breaking a journey to or from Scotland

Lovely inside our room was spacious and clean loved the huge bathroom with roll top bath and wonderful bath products

Very noisy fan not peaceful during catering hours. Also work on an extension directly outside our bedroom window again noisy and smelly as they were working on the drains

The pub itself was lovely, very clean and welcoming! We were shown up to our family suite by a lovely lady named Linda. She was very welcoming and informative! Our suite was amazing! So clean and extremely well finished! Probably one of the best we’ve stayed in! The beds were super comfy and towels lovely and soft! Breakfast again was fantastic! Lots of choice for cereals, jams, toast etc and lovely homemade granola! We both also chose the full English breakfast, which again was very nice! I didn’t catch the lady’s name at breakfast but she was very nice and polite! We can’t wait to return!

Excellent in all aspects, absolutely great place with superb decor, facilities and staff who were outstanding in terms of customer service. Room, restaurant, food and cleanliness of the whole place amazing. 10/10 highly recommended.

Such a beautiful Inn. The food was exceptional and our room was superb and so beautifully decorated. The open fire where we sat and ate breakfast was amazing. This was definitely our favourite stay on our 3 weeks of travel around the UK.
