A great village local. Very friendly staff and customers. Good food. Altogether lovely

The staff showed us to our rooms with a smile. We were late arriving and therefore late for our table booking due to traffic but the staff were understanding and we had a delicious meal. The Inn was very cosy and the staff welcoming and attentive. Lovely view of the church from the window. Very quiet surroundings and beds were comfortable.

The breakfast in the room wasn't great. Carton of juice and a plastic wrapped croissant with no facility to crisp it up. I felt the kitchen area in the rooms could quite easily be upgraded but as it's a minor detail to our overall stay I didn't let it affect my score.

Nice sized room comfortable good kitchenette Great location could not be better. Community pub with friendly chatty locals. Dog friendly A good place to stay away from it all. Community shop next to the pub...very good for self catering.

Queued at bar to book in. Nice staff but stressed over bank holiday due to numbers in pub. So book in rushed. Place needed more staff but it is a community venture so could be difficult to do. Stairs up to room narrow with low roof. Could be a problem for some.

Well organised community pub

Called 10 days before to arrange food which was agreed, but forgotten by time we arrived. Joy kindly knocked up eggs, chips and beans, so day was saved!

De combi van 3 studios die feitelijk heel modern waten boven een heel oude pub is uniek. Veel lokaal volk, erg gezellig, maar toch ook zeer rustig in de nacht. De studio was klein, maar compleet en comfortabel.

Jammer dat keuken niet open is op maandag t/m woensdag, maar je kon in de pub wel eten dat in ons geval kwam van een mobiele pizzeria waar ook heel veel lokale klanten gebruik van maakten.

Perfect for one night passing through , good location v comfortable bed.

N A breakfast could have been a little better but not a problem the little shop next door had good supplies.

The food is very delicious and the staff and really welcoming. This is a brilliant community hub.

Rooms above the pub get all the noise from the pub and from the car park. A wrapped croissant for breakfast before hiking isn't enough fuel! We asked for a spare bed which was agreed but not provided.

I chose the Raven Inn because it was a convenient resting place on my Offa's Dyke walk. It's a community pub, which I wholeheartedly support, and it has received excellent reviews. My evening meal was by far the best I'd had all week.

I could have done with a more substantial breakfast to help sustain me on my day's walk, but I understand why this is not practicable.

Friendly and Welcoming. The dinner was delicious.
