Quiet spot in attractive village. Lively and friendly pub and volunteer staff very friendly and helpful

The ‘complimentary breakfast’ advertised was 2 long life croissants. I think this isn’t really breakfast and could easily be improved with, for example, small cereal boxes, fresh milk, bread (and a toaster) and jams and coffee with a coffee pot. Or make it clear there is no breakfast. We resorted to the shop which opens at 8am and serves coffee. Perhaps they could provide more breakfast food? We were warned but had to get a delivery for supper but there was only one option - a curry. Perhaps we could have been warned it was limited choice!

Room was lovely and the atmosphere in the bar was great. Later on the noise was kept real low it was a great stay and value for money we took a twin bed room that was well kept and comfortable I'd definitely recommend this 👌

Very compact little apartment, very large bed which was really comfortable.

Few cobwebs but important areas were clean.

Location. Very friendly locals. A real buzz in the pub. Good food. Helpful, friendly staff. Comfy beds. Good shower. Could cater a ready meal in the microwave on the days the pub's not catering. The community shop sells a range of food. (But shuts at 4.00, before check in time)

Breakfast was limited, but you're essentially paying a room only price anyway! But you could offer: porridge pots, cereal packs, fruit, bread, yoghurt maybe.

Lovely room, really well thought out with the kitchenette, separate cloakroom and clean throughout. Bed was very comfortable. Really appreciated the tea and coffee tray and breakfast items left for us too.

The glass bins being done at 7am Sunday morning (could have been a neighbour). Certainly woke me earlier than intended. Nevertheless a comfortable night’s sleep.
