The Swan

A warm, friendly welcome from helpful staff set the tone for our one night stay. We had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning and the food was excellent. A good choice and plentiful at reasonable prices. The young serving staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The only, minor, downside was that the car park is small so we had to park down the road but we found somewhere in the end.

A larger car park, but we understand that is impossible at such an old building in a village with narrow one-way streets.

Great location for us and the staff were very helpful, even allowing us to get into our rooms early to prepare for a wedding

We received a really friendly welcome from our host and the regulars at the bar. The food was outstanding. Large choice of good home cooked food

There was nothing we didn’t like

Breakfast was very good .staff great and rooms were all ready early as had a wedding to get to.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. It was clean and tidy and just what we needed for a quick surprise stay over. Would we recommend a stay here simple answer is yes!

Two small issues, one of the glasses in the room hadn't come out of the dishwasher at it's cleanest. One of the mattresses was really soft but I guess that's a personal choice.
