Beautiful old building with a pretty beer garden overlooking the river. Staff were exceptionally courteous and the rooms were immaculate.

Not sure how many times your algorithm will ask a question that is answered every single time we go, which is often. The property is staffed by good people and is a best location. We love it. Booking for com though are a pain in the arse with endless recommendations etc

Location was lovely, on the outskirts of a pretty little village next to a small river with plenty of outdoor seating and seemed quite central to all the locations we wanted to visit whilst in the Cotswolds. The bar area was cosy and welcoming and the large restaurant at the rear was a great place to dine. Our room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The continental breakfast was good and we had an evening meal whilst there which was very nice and reasonably priced. All of the staff were friendly and attentive .

There was some wallpaper peeling off in our room which didn’t make a good first impression and could have easily been quickly sorted.

Room OK but shower not good AND no grab handles.
