The staff are absolutely so accommodating!! They made our stay more than welcoming. We ended up booking a room that wasn't quite suitable for our needs and gave us a perfect room without any worries!! I would recommend this place to anyone! We had a fabulous stay ❤️

The staff, the location is perfect! You can walk anywhere you need to go. Just park and explore the town. Close to the beach as well. Just a lovely quiet stay.

I like that the place has a history and they have a museum in the basement to show the jail.

I didn’t like that there is no reception. I also dont like that we were not told about the common rooms or that there is a museum at the basement we can go to— we just overheard it from another guest. The staff were barely there so you are unsure of who to ask for stuff.

The hotel manager is very accomodating and friendly. I haven't stayed in such a quiet hotel in many years! The location is excellent -- a very short walk to great restaurants and the lake.
