The Old Registry guest house

A little gem. We stayed in the Memorie room ,and it was the best bed I have ever slept in.n

It's not a Disslike , just a suggestion that a blind should be put up in the amazing bathroom

Delightful property located at the bottom of the historic Main Street. Lovely breakfast in the morning, beautifully furnished rooms, and very welcoming staff.

Cozy and quirky, staff were brilliant! Homely and comfy.

We couldn't stay longer!

Staff could not have been more welcoming. The guest house had a lovely relaxed family feel. Tje period furniture really felt like staying in the land of the Bronte's. Breakfast was delicious.

The bedroom door does not lock from the inside and one lamp had a faulty bulb. These were minor issues and did not spoil our stay.

The people were lovely and the food was good. The bath was great.

The mattress was vey soft and rather narrow. The heating was not adequate, we were really cold at times. The window was completely exposing so we had to get dressed etc with the curtains drawn and the lighting was inadequate.

We waited for 20 minutes outside trying to get in to the property as it was locked. Once in the room was dusty and it was very noisy.
