Great vibes. Close to the cliff top and helipad. Excellent staff (they treated us to ripe jackfruit from their front yard). Small rooms, but very comfortable bed and a nice balcony.

We had a very disappointing experience at Aryavilla Heritage Hotel. While we initially booked for several nights, we encountered numerous issues that made our stay extremely uncomfortable. One night, there was a complete power outage, leaving us without electricity, fan, or air conditioning. The staff acknowledged this and offered to reimburse the air-con fee for that night. On another night, the electricity continuously cut out, disrupting our sleep, and instead of addressing the issue, the staff only offered to clean our room. In addition to the power issues, our room’s door did not lock properly from the outside, making it unsafe to leave our valuables. The room was also infested with ants, which bit us at night. My mother developed a heat rash due to having to sleep in a room with no fan or air conditioning. Upon checking out, we refused to pay for one of the nights due to the repeated disruptions, and the staff initially agreed. However, once we had left the property, they proceeded to call me relentlessly—five times in total—and sent threatening messages, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. To make matters worse, they then attempted to reinstate our booking through Booking.com and charge my card, despite the fact that we had already paid in cash. I would not recommend staying here due to the lack of basic amenities, security concerns, and the unethical way issues were handled.

Lovely house and garden, fantastic location, about 1 minute from the cliff and all the shops and restaurants. Mohammed, the manager, is very friendly and helpful.

The shower had hot water but was only a stream of water. It wasn’t a problem but could have worked better.

The homestay is situated a stones throw ..walk from the helipad and cliff top. Beginning The rooms are well attired spacious and comfortable. Staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble.

Nil…. we had an initial toilet flush problem and they immediately changed our room …. Mohamed could not do enough to fix the problem quickly and checked agin and again to ensure our complete satisfaction

I had an amazing stay at Aryavilla, the room was clean, nice, close to the centre and the beach. The staff is just lovely, smiling, if you need help with anything, information, booking train tickets, getting around Varkala...I highly recommend this place 🌞

Had a really great and memorable experience

The hotel is located just 1 minute from the cliff, and there is no noise from the cliff. The A/C Room on the second floor was clean and had a balcony, and the beds were very comfortable. Muhammad, the manager, was very friendly and assisted us with all our needs.
