Historic, well maintained, and comfortable.

My only concern is that I had an early morning and couldn’t quickly figure out how to exit the property!

Pub, beer garden and food are excellent.

Nowhere to eat ther continental breakfast except back in your room. My top floor room and steep steps made this difficult.

They didn’t make up our room but we also neglected to ask them

Very clean and comfortable. Location is right in the middle of town. Could not hear the pub downstairs as we had the room on top floor. Spacious for 2 people and the self service breakfast bar was great. Food and drinks at the pub were great.

The shower went hot and cold which was a little annoying. Traffic noise was very loud at night and early morning - highly recommend providing ear plugs.

Really clean, comfortable furniture, spacious, friendly staff, accessible breakfast and easy access

The room was quite noisy in the morning with traffic going by quite loud, and it was very hot during the heatwave - clearly great insulation for winter but not for extreme heat!

Easy to find and to park. Rooms very tastefully decorated.

Traffic noise was disturbing due to lack of double glazing

It would be helpful to be warned about the steep narrow stairs up to the rooms.
