It was the whole package. Close to Town centre and car park, which was free after 6pm and all Sunday. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Booked evening meal there, it was full, always a good sign. Outside seating area very good. Entertainment on at nighttime, Saturday. Room was fabulous. We love heritage hotels when maintained, and this was We will definitely be returning

Breakfast was a help yourself continental bar, fridge in the corridor outside the rooms, sounds strange i know , but it really was nice to be able to have a coffee , tea, some juice, a yoghurt, fruit, pastry's, muffins, cheese, ham the list goes on. Really nice surprise with more options then most hotels! thank you. x

The road outside was a little noisy

Large room, comfortable bed

Dirty carpet. Shower sealant mouldy, needs urgent replacement. For a pub with a fully equipped kitchen, the breakfast offering was a joke. A small alcove with pre wrapped croissants (stale), a few cereal selections, tesco value cheeses etc. Help yourself. I can't comment on the staff because I only saw one person when I checked in. No further contact. Overall, very poor value and I wouldn't stay again.

Noisy road with traffic & pub music. Self serve continental breakfast with a coffee machine that did not work.
