Loved the atmosphere and the location

The bed were comfortable and clean

The property was very grubby. It’s entrance was dark and the carpet up the staircase was dirty. I hadn’t read anywhere that property was up a steep staircase. The kitchen wasnt clean and there were dirty washing up cloths and scorers were well worn. There was nowhere to hang towels in the washroom.

Lack of toiletries.Duvets too thin.Stairs quite steep,which could be a problem for some.

Great pub, full of locals. The room was a twin with large separate shower room - laid out like a flat rather than an ensuite room, with key to room and side door for easy access out of hours and to leave in the morning. Bed was comfy and all linenes and towels clean. wonderful value for money, will stay here again.

No option for cooked food or breakfast except the pub down the road, but to be fair it wasn't expected at the time of booking so I got what I asked for.
