The best place I slept in Sri Lanka. The woman is nice, kind, charming. The sheets are clean, the shower has hot water. There is a current in the toilet. The location is right in the center. Everything was really lovely.

Maybe at night there is some music from a bar across the street.

Wifi is not all the time .. you have to ask them to open it No kitchen to cook

Perfect location for climbing the rocks. Nice strip of good restaurants and shops next to it.

Mosquito central, but a net is provided. The windows have holes in them.

The highlight of this place is the lady host: polite and kind, upon arrival she immediately offered me tea and local cakes. Decent room with mosquito nets over the bed, and a large fan. Parking on the premises. Bonus: a cute little frog in my room.

I suspect the room is not aired often (no mosquito nets on the windows), because a lot of the fake ceiling is covered in mildew (which smells when you start the fan).There is so much trapped humidity that the wooden door of the bathroom is badly rotten at the bottom and has developed some mold. The bathroom essentials are there, and they work - but it's sad to see how little mentainance they see: the bidet is leaking, the toilet seat slides around everywhere, the plastic tap needs a lot of force to open, the shower head leaks and lacks pressure, the heating unit barely warms the water. I also caught one bedbug right before sleep, so take that as you will.

The location is perfect, right in the centre of town. Easy to get to Lion's Rock and Pidurangala. The family were exceptionally kind and accommodating. For those concerned, the level of English is excellent, so very easy to communicate :)

The room was well prepared, however, there was a corner with a mass of dead ants, which could have been cleared before we arrived. Cleanliness was good otherwise.

Close to Lions rock and other nicer views. Also close to restaurants and shops.
