The house howlder is very social and frendly. Very good service for foreigners and Sri lankans.

The excellent location, the spacious room, covered terrace and garden, the sweet, ever smiling hostess and her kind mom who served me delicious, complimentary, freshly pressed fruit juices and lent me an electric kettle to make my morning coffee and evening tea. I liked the relaxing place so much that I extended my stay from 3 to 5 nights!

The only missing thing is mosquito netting at the door and windows. I dared not open them too much because of the many mosquitoes, so the hermetically closed room and bathroom were either too warm on normal days or damp and musty on rainy days, in spite of the fan. (It rained practically every day while I was there!) I would advise Nilo to do this, then she can easily increase her prices! She also has to update her information on the site because there's no restaurant and no shared kitchen but there are plenty of eating options as soon as you step out.

Perfect place to spend the night and go conquer the rocks of Sigiriya. Very close to the entrance. Nice English speaking hostess, cozy room and all amenities.

I had a good stay and highly recommend this location - walking distance to lion rock and view point as well as in the center of the village with lots of restaurants. Before I stayed a bit further and it was a bit scary to walk in the evening with dogs barking around. There is no kitchen but when I asked they lended me kettle and cup. Bed was comfortable with mosquito net, good hot water shower, fan, simple facilities but clean and sufficient. The staff were very welcoming and nice not very pushy with selling trips and services like happened to me in other locations. I recommend this place.
