"Great value, very happy with stay."

Well presented rooms with lots of facilities. Comfortable bed. Nice to have free WiFi. Brilliant free parking with lots of spaces.

It was very close to the train track, which I knew about before booking, however due to the heatwave I had to keep windows open which made it noisy and the fan supplied was also noisy so had a slightly disturbed sleep. But I don’t hold the venue responsible, it was just unfortunately very hot when I stayed!

"Fantastic pub with perfectly adequate lodging for passing through."

Nice room, small but cosy. Bed was comfortable with soft towels and tea coffee facilities.

No soap in bathroom or shower gel/shampoo. No side lamp.

"Use moisture resistant paint in the bathroom, fix the extractor and empty the bin."

Location and staff

Previous clients rubbish in the bin, paint flaking of the ceiling onto me when I was drying myself after a shower, extractor not working won’t help.

Friendly staff and clean

The bedroom was tiny and not enough room to get round the bed I had to climb over my husband to get into bed I also heard everything my neighbours in next room got up to including the person snoring
