"Clean, good sized, great location, friendly staff - zero complaints!"

Cute traditional guesthouse with lift; good size family room (double bed + comfortable sofa bed); parking right outside the hotel; decent breakfast spread with local products; super well located, just round the corner from the town’s Main Street. Very helpful and nice staff that gave us an explanation of where to walk and even restaurant recommendations (that was good!).

Couldn’t find a hairdryer in the room.

Das Hotel Adler ist ein stilvolles, sehr schön renoviertes, gepflegtes historisches Appenzeller-Haus und befindet sich an bester Lage im malerischen Städtchen. Herzlich empfangen und betreut wurden wir von Herrn Leu, Geschäftsführer und seinem freundlichen Team. Da die grosse schöne Adler-Suite noch frei war, haben wir als Geburtstags-Geschenk des Hotels (zum 70. meiner Frau) dieses liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer benützen können. Nochmals herzlichen Dank dafür an Herrn Leu. Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel rundum wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt bald einmal wieder kommen.
