Central location, FANTASTIC food and friendly staff

Our room was not very clean and due for some redecoration.

Staff very friendly and welcoming, good food and great atmosphere Parking was very difficult due to construction work .

It is situated in a very good location close to all amenities. In the middle of Ashbourne which is great .

I stayed with my sister as we used to live in Ashbourne, we thought it would be nice to come back and reminisce round Ashbourne again . The hotel is very dated and in need of a makeover , as it’s a shame as it’s in a really good place . The floors creek, the walls are in need of painting and the whole place probably could do with a complete renovation.

Loved the location and the pub downstairs, our room was fine just smelt of damp as old building and no heating on but not an issue as a heater was in the room to use

The room was cosy & very warm. The beds were nice and comfy, which was great after an arduous walk around Dovedale. We had food downstairs in the bar and can highly recommend 👌

No heating in the bedroom. In January. Absolutely freezing cold and difficult to sleep The power went off at one point. No apology or explanation
