A35 Pit Stop Rooms

The bed was comfortable. The motel is at the back of a service station which has a Greggs which was good for breakfast.

The rooms were tired and old. One towel was not clean. The water temperature in the shower was not consistent. There was a terrible smell outside which was disconcerting and the area around the motel was not pleasant.

Location is excellent. Room 3 is a big suit with 2 bedrooms and a small reception area. One double bed and two single beds are all great and bathroom is good. Both room 1 and 3 have coffee tea bags and kettles.

It has not got a clear sign to find. There is no direction near greggs/subway to show how to get to these rooms behind them. In the afternoon the area in front of these rooms had a very strong sewage smell that lasted for hours. Room 1 has very strong mold smell, the main light is not working, and all clothes left on the chair felt damp in the morning.

The room was clean, towels and toiletries available. TV and a kettle working.

Few things to be fixed: the door to the toilet sticking, hard to open. The toilet flash has to be held down to work.

We had a truly awful experience. The room was dirty, smelly, and the whole setup was completely unprofessional. When we arrived, there was no reception—just a vague instruction to go to a subway shop, where no one knew anything. Eventually, we were sent to a convenience store at a gas station to get our key. Our first room had an unbearable smell—mold mixed with heavy chemicals. The floor was dirty, and even though the bed was made, there was hair all over it. We tried calling the contact number multiple times but got no answer—only voicemail. I also sent an email with no reply. We even called Booking.com, and while they said they’d follow up within 30 minutes, we never heard back. After an hour, we went back to the shop where we got the keys and complained. The staff there offered us another room, which was only slightly better—still smelly, still dirty. He even asked us to step out so he could spray air freshener. The whole place felt sketchy, loud, and very poorly maintained. This is by far one of the worst places I’ve stayed in. My boyfriend and I have been camping around southwest England, and even the most basic campsites and hostels we’ve visited were cleaner and more welcoming than this. We only booked this because of the rain forecast and my feeling a bit unwell—we just needed a dry, clean place to sleep. Unfortunately, we deeply regret this booking. Tip: If you're on a budget, you're much better off staying in Exeter or one of the nearby villages—there are last-minute deals that are cleaner and more reliable. Or just spend £20 more for a proper place by the coast. This was completely overpriced for what felt like a total dump.

No sofa for three people only two tub chairs. Tv was tiny. Wall lights in one bedroom had no bulbs. Blinds were broken in lounge

Mancavano: un tavolino, almeno un paio di sedie dato che la stanza è per 4 persone, un cestino grande. Inoltre è mancata la possibilità di vedere la BCC ( e durante la nostra permanenza era l'unica opportunità di vedere la finale di Wimbledon). La TV , inoltre, è minuscola Dato che nel piazzale è presente un negozio di alimenti anche pronti sarebbe piacevole ci fosse un microonde.
