A beautiful hotel, excellent food and atmosphere

The bedroom was very cute but headroom is very low

Wanted a bath robe!!

A perfect, memorable, luxurious stay. The service was exceptional and extra thought was put into every aspect, making it a cut above the others in the area Eg. The best flapjacks I've ever tasted left in your room for you, locally sourced amazing smelling soap, toiletries etc, dog towel and bowl for your dog in the room. The food was outstanding including breakfast, which had unique and special options rather than just the standard. I had pear perdu for breakfast and have craved it ever since! Everything was locally sought and sustainability was prioritised without compromise on quality. Other hotels in the area for the same price are very nice but I feel don't offer the same unique experience, rather than the standard expectations of a nice hotel. We'll be back for sure!

Nothing not to like.

Location was great George was a nice man Our room was nice up in little hobbit house type thing but had to continually duck to walk through doors

Breakfast service was pretty poor for price we paid. No water or juice offered just quick menu and filtered coffee They got my egg order wrong and then got one egg when they came back my husband had 2 There was a terrible noise in our room every hour of knocking of pipes very disappointing to be honest as we felt v expensive for what we got

Staff were welcoming and our room was vey clean

The river at the back of the property was quite high

Lovely room, great food and fantastic staff. Special thanks to George for always making us feel welcome.
