Riverside Inn, Aymestrey

The Inn and garden rooms are lovely and the surrounding area is beautiful. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The food was also fantastic!

What's not to like from it's location to the facilities everything was exceptional.

Excellent food, and well worthy of it's reputation. Very attentive staff, can't fault it for a short break.

Nothing, bed room was small but adequate for a 18th century building.

Beautiful room, clean, spacious and cosy bed. Surroundings were beautiful and we loved the walk up to the wellness area. Unfortunately it was very foggy during our visit so I didn’t see the beautiful views of the valley - but that just means we need to visit again 😃

Can’t fault anything only that the room was warm and we couldn’t turn off the bathroom radiator - but apart from that it was fabulous.

Dinner was exceptionally good but breakfast a little disappointing. The muesli was described as Bircher muesli but wasn’t anything other than the usual dry oats and fruit from a packet. The marmalade was an orange purée that really wasn’t marmalade. We didn’t have the cooked breakfast- we were still full from a wonderful dinner the night before, but looking at the plates of other guests it looked very good.

Beautiful place. The garden rooms are such a unique treat and the food was incredible. A lovely romantic getaway place!
