Perfect location, great rooms, very friendly staff and good food

Our room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom and small terrace with chairs and table for relaxing outside. Food was good.

The property itself is wonderful and in a lovely country location. The owners have resisted the temptation to modernise every nook and cranny, leaving parts of the property just as it would have been centuries ago which we found fascinating. The accommodation is separate from the pub, is roomy and quiet, and looks out over open fields with an area to sit outside. It was largely very clean, just a few cobwebs behind the lamp stands. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

A small thing, but there was nowhere sensible to use the tabletop ironing board provided.

Perfect room. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Quite expensive but worth it. Treat yourself!

Lovely staff, very ancient quiet pub, delicious food.

All beautifully painted and spacious, butI thought the decor in the bedroom could have been lighter, and a few pots outside on the terrace.

The staff were amazing! So friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, everything we could have needed, very peaceful and comfortable. The pub food was very nice and the location was perfect.
