Beautiful quirky property full of interesting collectibles. Close to several restaurants. Comfortable roomgreat shower toilet seperate from room.Good bike storage. Quiet peaceful setting next to canal.

Stairs very steep not good for people with poor mobility.

The stairs when having a suitcase and all the little stones outside where you can’t walk properly. A walk pad would have been nice.

This has to be one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I've ever stayed in. It was comfortable and so quiet. We didn't notice the other guests other than at breakfast times. Beds were comfortable and the room was large and cozy. Breakfast was great as well and the staff was very nice and helpful. It's so quiet and relaxing to stay here. A very romantic place.

-The stairs to our room (last floor) were a challenge for sure! Especially with our big suitcases, it was definitely a struggle. One of the staff members did offer her help with one of our suitcases, but we didn't want to trouble her with it. - There's no safe inside the room, but since you had to take the tall stairs to our room, we didn't worry too much. - The location, although gorgeous, was not centric. You have to take buses into town, but it's not too bad. - The carpet in our room had some stains and was a bit uncomfortable to walk in because it's so tough.

Lovely room slightly on the small side but had interesting photographs on the wall. The bathroom was large enough but could have done with a few more hooks for towels as there was only one. We loved the feel of the old house and the breakfast room was gorgeous with views to the garden with some large, old trees and the canal.

It was all pretty good so I would be nitpicking.

Fantastic location, fabulous rooms, breakfast was terrific, made us feel very special.

The environment, building and its interior are truly spectacular. Cool rooms containing likely quite valuable and neat antiques (my room had lots of fun racing-related artifacts). Nice, small site with intimate vibe, friendly staff. Didn't have breakfast, but might be worth doing just to spend more time in some of the awesome rooms downstairs. During hot weather it was very welcoming that A/C was installed to keep the room cool.

Didn't expect that the toilet access would be via a shared hallway, which was slightly annoying but not a huge deal considering how few guests there are. Access to the upper room is via some very steep stairs that make carrying luggage difficult. Also a bit disappointed that they charged an extra fee to use the electric car charger. That kind of amenity, like wifi, does not warrant an additional charge in my opinion, and should be a perk for staying there.

Very nicely located accomodation with wonderfull garden ajoining the Vecht river. Beautifull common rooms. Very nice served breakfast in convervatory overlooking the garden

Steep stairs to second floor room

Super cute place - stopped over for one night, as had a business trip nearby starting the Monday . Perfect for this, beautiful breakfast served in a grand room. The service was lovely and the whole feel is “home stay style” - if this isn’t for you then give this place a skip, it is “boutique” for a reason. Room was beautifully decorated , the toilet was outside the room on the top floor so if you are toilet shy then avoid booking this room. The stairs are also very hectic so if you have loads of suitcases that will be a total nightmare . Place is also right on a busy road so if you are a light sleeper then bring ear plugs - this didn’t bother us or retract from our lovely stay. Restaurant next door was the highlight “slangevegt” and it’s one of the nicest places I’ve been for awhile, we had a fab time ! Would deffo stay again .
