Logement aan de Vecht

De ligging, we gingen ook vlakbij eten. Het is een mooie accommodatie. Het ontbijt was prima, met een ruim aanbod.

Er was op een aantal kamers geen airco, wel een fan. De ramen moest je dichthouden voor de muggen. Verder was het buitenlicht op het terras ‘‘s avonds al uit.

The window could not open in full in our room and there is no airco so it was quite warm

The antiques and breakfast setup were very charming, with candlelight and a lovely view overlooking the garden.

The building is old (which is part of its charm), but it is also very noisy. They offer earplugs, and at first I wondered why, until I slept on the street side and could hear every car passing by (as well as all the guests upstairs). It would also be an improvement if they turned off the large lights in front of the building after, say, midnight. As it is, the room stays as bright as daytime throughout the night, which makes sleeping difficult.

What a stay!!!! We absolutely loved staying at Logement Aan De Vecht - how quirky, authentic, and characteristic the house was. The rooms were spacious, clean, and really comfy. And the staff very accommodating and welcoming. Initially we were not planning on having breakfast the next morning but when we woke up and saw the incredible breakfast room we changed our mind. They quickly acommodated us and served us a delicious breakfast. Very kind and very flexible. Would totally recommend.
