Great breakfast, very helpful staff - perfect for what I was looking for

The pub and staff are nice. Breakfast was alright too.

The beds are horrible. I wouldn't call them beds; they are boxes on wheels with a mattress. The floor is very uneven, so that makes the bed uneven, and you always feel you are about to fall out of the bed. The sink was clogged.

Charming surroundings. Lake with boats. Atmospheric pub. We've never slept in a 16th-century cottage before! Breakfast is included, and it's good and nutritious (English breakfast). Good for a one-night stay, as was our case. the service was very nice and understanding of my English

The room is small and could do with squeezing a chair or stool in somewhere. The parking lot and entrance are too small for a larger car, although I managed with my van.

Heating did not come on, despite being told to just turn it up so was cold. Need a thicker quilt for the winter or extra blankets sorry....
