Great location for visiting Greystoke Castle, friendly staff, large comfortable bed, large shower

A little tired in places but i understand it's just been taken over so I expect some improvements will be made in terms of decorating over time.

Lovely cosy pub. very friendly. lovely breakfast. Great base for exploring the northern lakes.

The pub was good,breakfast was good,served real ale nice pint .The new landlady and staff where great.

Nothing really,The pub had only just been recently taken over and they weren’t serving food .Had to get taxis into Penrith.

The staff were amazing! Especially Tyler, who couldn't do enough to help us out.

The shower was difficult to use.

Lovely staff, big, comfy bed, great location

No bin in the room, could not hang up a dress, chef has left so no meal available, only one bedside table despite plenty of room, hand held shower under a sloping roof, despite lovely staff Def not 4 star. . Too pricey for the facilities

Lovely location, room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Good price.

Nothing to note at price.
