Considering that there were only two couples, the breakfast was fine even though choices were limited.

Bedroom was not as dark as I prefer. Considerable light gets through the blinds.

My husband and I had a weekend away for our anniversary. From the onset of booking with the Lee House to checking in, the entire experience was nothing more than AMAZING! The owner, Paul met us in the courtyard and took my bag and walked us through the inn, giving us a tour and shared the history and his labor or love for the Lee House. They treated us like family from the moment we walked in their doors, till we left the next morning, before we were fed an amazing homemade breakfast and had great conversation with the cook and Innkeeper. Paul, Anne, Amanda and Missy, went above any expectations we had. As we were walking out the door, Innkeeper Anne hugged us both and wished us safe travels. We will be back and will bring friends and family along the next time. The Lee House is a historical gem right in the heart of Maysville. If you've never been, you're missing out❤️

EVERYTHING. Our stay was phenomenal and the staff and ownership was truly exceptional. We have truly never experienced this level of hospitality!

The only thing that would have been nice was a sink in the kitchenette area. However, we would easily overlook this and it would not impact our future stays, since everything else was absolutely exceptional.

Didn’t have breakfast. Location is great for what we wanted to do. I felt safe but it is a bit of a worry coming in later at night when alone since there is no one around.

Overall everything was fine. I would like to see a cheerier decor. Steps can be a problem especially if your alone and have no help with luggage. Grounds kept nice. Especially loved all the flower pots!

My team (NightSong Paranormal) was in town to investigate a location in the next town over (Brooksville). When I was booking hotel rooms, I always look for good reviews, 8.5 or above rating with excellent amenities and breakfast. I stumbled across a listing on Booking.com for The Lee House Inn. It had 10 stars from reviews with all the amenities and breakfast. Amanda had called a few days before our stay and was a pleasure to speak with! She even greeted us outside at check in and escorted us to our rooms. The suites were immaculate with personal touches everywhere. I could live here!! So very comfortable. I felt at home immediately. The room had a nice welcome bag, snacks, water, and everything else we could have ever wanted. After a comfortable nights rest, we had the most amazing breakfast and was given a tour of the Lee House by the city commissioner Ms. Ann. What a treat that was! A beautiful home rich with history. I cannot say enough about this charming hotel. From the accommodations to hospitality. 10/10! We are already planning our next trip back to stay a long weekend so we can soak up all Maysville has to offer.

We didn't get to stay for the breakfast as we had to leave early but this place is really adorable. They have kept as much of the old world charm as they could while updating it for modern amenities. I totally wasn't expecting a microwave and small fridge in the room. The rooms are a good size as well. The desk, TV console and couch in the room didn't feel crowded. I would totally stay here again.

The only things I would suggest is a king bed and a small table or nightstand on both sides of the bed. The bed was ok as far as comfort but my husband weighs more than I do so I always feel like I'm going slightly downhill when we sleep in a queen bed. My side of the bed didn't have a nightstand so I didn't have anywhere to put my phone and glasses.
