Easy parking and helpful staff. We appreciated being able to check in early. Room was nice and clean and we felt safe once we had entered the gated property.

The bed was too small. The surrounding area didn’t feel the safest with quite a few homeless around. We also didn’t realise there would be so many flights of stairs to climb with all our bags.

Place was very clean, check-in was super easy and communication rather speedy. Location-wise it was super convenient and right under Balboa park!

Didn't love the shower head (if you have long or thick hair it could take some time)!

Short walking distance to the zoo, gaslamp district and little Italy. Balcony was pleasant

Have to walk over the highway to get anywhere. The planes were incredibly loud passing all day from 5 am to midnight. We couldn’t keep the window/door open if we were watching tv or trying to sleep. The blinds were also very bad and kept letting in the light.

It’s location was excellent, with a fantastic view of Balboa Park. So, I have a fantastic view of the sunrise every morning. The bird calls early morning and watching the changing colour palette as the sun is coming up every morning was so therapeutic and breathtaking - simply awesome! It is also quite centrally located - the Downtown area and historic Gaslamp district is also within walking distance. If you persevere, you can even walk all the way to the Seaport Village and the marina promenade. Just make sure you put on good walking shoes. There are many eateries along the way to quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite. If your are lucky, a DJ may also be on duty spinning cool tunes at some of the open bars along the marina. Even my friend who has settled in San Diego with his family mentioned that the studio apartment is in a good location. The staff at the apartment complex is also very helpful, so makes you feel at home.

There is no lift, so had to climb up and down at least 3 flights of stairs since my unit happens to be on the 3rd floor. While it is good exercise, it can be daunting especially when you are already so exhausted having expended your energy walking all day. I didn’t mind the sound of airplanes landing since they provided ear plugs. Most times, I was already so tired by the time I get back to my studio and slept soundly.

Very clean and close to my daughter’s apt. In Banker’s Hill. Right next to Balboa park.

Stairs to access unit. There is no elevator but otherwise it was exceptional!

The location

The room is not really good , the curtains is broken and like more than 4 empty so, is a lot of light in the night , the tv don’t work good.

Everything was great . Do not hesitate to book , great stay .
