Manigelang Villa

A very beautiful sunset welcomed my arrival in the evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean, and I didn’t find a single piece of trash anywhere in the area.

My stay at Manigelang Villa was an absolute highlight of my trip. Nestled deep in the mountains, the property offers a level of quietness and coziness that is hard to find. The room felt incredibly luxurious for the price point, providing a perfect sanctuary to relax in. I spent a lot of time in the beautiful garden, which had a lovely, natural fragrance that added to the overall atmosphere of the retreat. The sunset views from the villa are breathtaking and were a daily highlight, while having the pool was such a nice bonus for cooling off in the afternoons. One of the biggest surprises was the quality of the food; the Vegan Satay in particular was extremely tasty and easily some of the best I’ve had. Beyond the facilities, the employees were so nice and helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed. If you are looking for a peaceful, high-quality mountain escape, this is the perfect place.

The main drawback was the noise at night. There were loud wild dogs around the property that barked quite a bit, which unfortunately woke me up during the night and disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. If you are a light sleeper, it’s worth keeping this in mind, though the beauty of the grounds and the quality of the service still made for a very nice stay during the daylight hours.

⸻ This hotel offers a truly special and peaceful experience. It is located away from the busy town, along a small village road surrounded by greenery and nature. Although it feels secluded, that is exactly what makes it so unique and relaxing. The views are beautiful, with a lovely village atmosphere, trees, and forest surroundings that create a calm and refreshing environment. The hotel itself is very well-maintained, clean, and nicely arranged. Everything was thoughtfully prepared. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the stay even more enjoyable.

I didn’t have any negative experience during my stay. Everything went smoothly and I was satisfied overall.

Ottima struttura immersa nel verde; perfetto per staccare qualche giorno da posti molto affollati. Lo staff è stato veramente accogliente con ottimi suggerimenti per tour nei dintorni e ci hanno supportato per noleggio scooter ed autista per il rientro. Prezzi molto onesti sia alla struttura che per i servizi. Grazie della vostra accoglienza e gentilezza!

Rio und sein Team waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Häuschen ist gemütlich und durch den eigenen Wasserspringer sowie einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer gut ausgestattet. Das Highlight ist hier der tolle Ausblick von beiden Terrassen und auch von der hoteleigenen Terrasse, von der man zusätzlich auf den neuen Pool schaut. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und das Frühstück lecker. Die gesamte Anlage war sehr gepflegt und durch Pflanzen schön angelegt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Nach den trubeligen Orten Canggu und Ubud war es der perfekte Ort für uns, um in ruhiger Atmosphäre zu entspannen und eine Tour mit dem Roller durch die Landschaft zu machen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen.

Toute la nourriture était 100% végétarienne et quasiment tout même végan. Ça ne serait pas un problème si c’était clairement annoncé dans la description ou quelque part en évidence dans l’annonce. Là on découvre une fois sur place que c’est un restaurant végan. On se réjouit quand on voit les spécialités locales à base de canard ou poulet etc. mais au final c’est du substitut chimique à base de champignons et soja. Nous avons tout de même essayé pour rester de bonne foi, mais nous n’avons pas réussi à terminer, c’était écœurant à la fin. Manger végétarien en soit, n’est pas un souci, nous mangeons souvent des repas sans viande, mais quand ce n’est pas clairement annoncé et avec des substituts chimiques… là c’est très décevant. En plus l’hôtel étant excentré, on ne peut pas se tourner vers un autre restaurant. Les temps de service étaient également très très longs, jusqu’à 40 minutes pour un petit déjeuner pourtant commandé la veille (quelques fruits coupés et un œuf brouillé… pour aller plus vite disaient-ils).

Staffnya sangat ramah, pemiliknya juga ramah, tempatnya bersih, nyaman, udaranya sejuk, villanya bersih, ada restaurant pemandangan pegunungan, cocok sekali untuk tempat istirahat dan membuat acara bersama keluarga, kolam renangnya bersih.

Jalan menuju ke lokasi agak kecil, ada turunan dan tanjakan namun jalannya mulus, harap pelan2 saja dan berhati2, alangkah lebih baiknya untuk drivernya yang sudah berpengalaman
