Always a fantastic stay at the George and Dragon - rooms are cosy and clean with everything you need, there is a lovely beer garden outside for an evening drink and the staff are all absolutely brilliant!

Lovely welcoming bar area . Great food and service . Friendly relaxed helpful staff. Crisp white bed linen and comfy pillows. Outside seating. Easy parking.

Our room location: end of corridor . No fire escape , other than main staircase .

Everything! A great location, interesting history, fabulous welcome and and great food. Very well trained and attentive staff wanting to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable even though we had only booked for 1 night. We’ll definitely be back!
