The Half Moon Inn

Brilliant hosts. Great room. This was a last minute booking for work so we didn't know what to expect. Really good place to stay and would definitely stay there again.

Good location, quiet and bed was clean and comfortable.

We had one towel between the two of us and it had a red stain on it so couldn't shower. The room smelt like cigarette smoke.

The location was great for Wimbledon and good value for money. Ripley is lovely, nice restaurants and pubs etc

The room at the front was next to the road and noisy but Kim very kindly moved us to a quieter room at the back. There’s no reception but that suited us fine and Kim was very responsive to our emails

Lovely building, very comfortable bed and a big roomy bathroom with instant hot water. The staff were very helpful, and the locals friendly. You get your own front door key for 24 hour access. The bar has a decent range of beers and wines. And the whole place is spotlessly clean and fresh. Ideal for myself and two colleagues attending a sports training event a mile away.

I was disappointed to learn that the Half Moon no longer did breakfasts. Also, I found the evening menu adequate, but in my case, limited, as I have particular dietary requirements. But that is only a very picky small minus.
