Gate Lodge - Private En-suite rooms, Kings Lynn, central location

Clean and comfortable, very modern.

Only one towel for two guests, no toilet roll supplied, has to be purchase from the local shop.

Access & cleanliness

Really well kept and tidy room. Everything worked fine. There was no tea / coffee making facilities in the room but downstairs there was a good sized kitchenette with fridge / microwave in. Plenty of plates and cutlery plus a table to sit at. To access the property, you needed to install an app on your phone that will release the lock when needed. All information about this was sent in advance so I was well prepared. Easy access into Kings Lynn.

Parking could be an issue.

Everything. Lack of information (no reply to 7 phone-calls and 2 e-mails) No en-suite facility. No use of a kitchen. Fobbed off to a different property. No apology. Key code system (but the code hadn't been sent)

The App needed a Wi-Fi connection to download which required a visit to Tesco- after which it worked as expected

This property is a no go area,the room was left without cleaning when we check in,we were given the option to clean it ourselves when we check in,hoping they will come the next day to deep clean,toilet was bad to the extent that I got an infection,I started having itching and have to take antibiotics now Staff was very rude when we didn’t check out on time due to the bad treatment we received,we decided to checkout late,there were other host coming to knocked out door and disturbing our peace for no reason The bedsheets were used by the previous host and we have to use it again because there was no bedsheet left for us No waste bag in the room and there were bottles of beer used by the previous host which were left on the floor The room was tiny and looked like a rat hole Overall,the experience at that lodge was terrible
