Manorbier Castle Inn Bay Room

Lovely country pub, great food and drink. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great location in the village. Bedroom was fine, and cottage feel.

I appreciate we had a room upstairs in the pub, rather than the private Lodge, so I am sure that would be a better option. As a couple of mates hiking, we didn't mind, but I wouldn't think my wife would like to share a bathroom with a member of staff accommodated on the same floor. The bathroom was full of the residents' personal items, old shampoo bottles, etc. I don't want to be too negative as, in general, a really pleasant stay. I just think the bathroom situation was not good.

Amazing location, minutes from the beach and castle! The castle is not to be missed. Very friendly and accommodating staff hosting the Inn and working in the pub! We landed in an Open Mic night so we got to hear some of the local talent, which was awesome. Great hikes to Swanlake Bay and to Tenby. Super good access to the bus and train station. We were able to avoid the crowds in Tenby!

Shared bathroom and kitchen- but we knew that when we booked. Not a complaint but we are getting a bit old for this! LOL

The pub had a lovely atmosphere with nice outdoor seating. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help.

The property is an older pub with lots of character, but it was quite dark inside, with creaky stairs and doors. As it’s a lively pub, noise continued until after midnight, which is understandable. The shared bathroom and kitchen facilities were adequate but felt quite dated. Tea and coffee were provided in the room, although milk and sugar were not. It’s also worth booking food in advance, as there were no tables available until after 8pm, so we had to travel to Tenby to eat, which was a little late for us.

Friendly staff, good food, pleasant room.

No one was available in the morning for check out! I ended up finding a very helpful member of residential staff. Very strange situation that I've never encountered before that delayed my departure.by an hour.

Location was perfect to access the beaches nearby and Tenby. Pub was lively and characterful. Food was excellent along with service. Large room and excellent kitchen facilities for a longer stay.

The room needs a side lamp by bed and the room felt very dark all the time. Although the decor is quaint it does need some updates.
