Good value for money. Great atmosphere and very friendly team. Bedroom was compact a little tired but clean. The food was of a very high standard indeed. Although slightly out of Halifax if you are visiting, it’s on a bus route and very easy to travel by car and park. Because the food is so good there is no need to go out in the evening. Excellent draught beer ( Landlord) . Well worth a stay.

Bar space a little limited however due to the popularity of the bar and limitation of space that’s understandable.

Lovely, scenic location. Food was lovely. But the staff are the true gems. Lovely people and fantastic at their jobs. Cannot rate highly enough

Room wasn’t massive but clean and comfortable

Usual friendly and welcoming staff whose attention to detail and good service make the inn the hospitable venue it is.

We found ourselves in the ground floor car park room 1. This was fine for one night but the second night guests arrived in the room above us. Their inconsiderate behaviour loudly arguing and stomping around until 1.30 am rather took the gloss off our stay.

Friendly staff, working hard to give good customer service.Well used and supported by local people; Good breakfast and evening memu.. Convenient for Hebden Bridge, Halifax & Haworth. Good value.

Fish pie could be thicker, it was more like fish soup.
