The Royal Oak Pub

Very cosy rooms in a great location.

Got quite warm at night, could do with a fan perhaps.

Lovely pub hotel bedrooms of good size nice Lge double bed excellent bathroom, staff very friendly and helpfull didn't eat here but food looked excellent

The breakfast is across the road and staff advised the only ‘slot’ left was 10:00 which was too late and we had to leave meaning we missed the breakfast

It was good and convenient but there was no TV in the room and the included breakfast was limited, extra for latte, couldn’t have OJ and tea and cooked was half the size as the one if you purchased it. Also didn’t open for breakfast till 9.

the setting the atmosphere and the comfort

One of the worst nights I‘ve ever stayed in a hotel. If it was advertised as a room above a pub in which live music would be played until 11pm at night - I wouldn’t have dreamt of booking this property. Noisy, tiny rooms, no tvs to even drown out the noise of the pub singer in the room below. Just awful and I feel very annoyed I paid for such a terrible nights sleep.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was small but adequate and very clean. Would stay there again
