"Nice pub with very friendly staff - don’t forget your earplugs!"

Lovely friendly staff. Room was over the pub and it only really works if you enjoy some live music and drinks and leave sleeping until the pub finishes trading. The live act we saw was brilliant!

Breakfast was in another facility and the woman running it was proper odd. Made us feel uncomfortable like we were intruding into her space.

Such a lovely pub, great staff, great selection of ales and ciders. The food is fantastic! The breakfast is served in a cafe across the square - Coffee and stays, which is also amazing, wonderful breakfasts served by lovely, friendly staff. The pub is in a great location with nice modern rooms, can’t fault it.

"Highly recommend the pub."

The pub and pub staff were excellent. Comfortable, warm cosy room.

The food at the cafe was good. The cafe staff were strange/unwelcoming, forgot our drinks. Overly awkward when asked to add additional item to breakfast. It was an odd experience.
