"Great for a stay after the races"

Stayed after cartmel races, room nice size and very clean, bed very comfy. A few minutes walk from the race course. Greeted by a very cheerful man, even though the pub was very busy we were made to feel welcome.

No TV, didnt see anywhere it said this on the booking, i might have missed it though. This didnt really matter for a one night stay but if staying longer it may have been an issue.

Lovely old building very conveniently situated for us. No television in the room, whilst not a problem for us, might prove an issue for others. Staff very helpful and friendly.
