"Loved Cartmel, and next time we will come for the races."

Central location, large room was perfect and very staff friendly.

No breakfast is offered which was totally fine, but because the pub is then unmanned in the morning you effectively have to check yourself out via the rear fire exit.

This is really a pub with rooms. Suits us fine. Several places within 100 yards for breakfast. Lovely beers, friendly staff, welcoming to families, limited menu but v good cooking. Great room overlooking the square. Super beer garden. Recommend.
