The character of the inn and its lovely setting. The room was comfortable and the staff and food were excellent.

La posizione eccellente, tranquilla, comoda e centrale x raggiungere le località piu famose della regione senza essere nella bolgia turistica, che fanno del posto un luogo molto frequentato anche solo per una sosta da hikers e ciclisti. L'ottima ristorazione e ancor di più l'offerta di birre e sidro da gustare sia all'aperto in terrazza ma anche nelle sale interne mooooolto carine, storiche e accoglienti! Da considerare che per i clienti che alloggiano nelle camere tengono sempre a disposizione un tavolo per la cena, anche se arrivi tardi o ti dimentichi di chiederlo! Molto apprezzabile!!! La gestione giovane e fresca ma professionale e sempre gentile. Davvero un bel posticino da riprenotare quando torneremo in zona!

Praticamente niente da dire in negativo, si puo sempre migliorare magari il servizio a colazione, o un ventilatore in camera, ma sono piccole cose

The homemade baked beans at breakfast are not to my taste. Stick to tinned versions please or I will avoid if I visit again.

Hotel is in a stunning location, rooms are spacious and ultra clean and staff in general were very good.

The food was a very poor because of how it was cooked. The full English was awful because it wasn't cooked enough. I'm not convinced that the sausages were safe to eat because they were so rare. Bacon was only just cooked and the tomatoes were only cooked on the top leaving the rest of the tomato raw. At dinner the tart tatin was reheated in the microwave so the pastry was too tough to eat - it makes a big difference using the oven. The closest other restaurant, which has a great reputation, was around 3 miles away and we didnt want to travel so due to the poor food we wouldnt return to the hotel as food is important to us.

Wir hatten ursprünglich 2 Nächte gebucht aber der Aufenthalt war so schön, dass wir noch einen Tag verlängert haben. Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber und ruhig in einem Anbau gelegen. Der alte Pub ist sehenswert und sehr gemütlich. Wie man sich das wünscht mit toller Atmosphäre. Das Restaurant war sehr gut, alles frisch zubereitet. Dr gesamte Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
