"Excellent"

The owners are lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go back.

The mattress was too soft for me, but that is just personal preference. The shower was a little confusing, but we worked it out.

Stunning location. Cosy, warm old stone built pub with nooks and crannies and original features. Hosts are welcoming, courteous and friendly. Room spotlesss ams very comfortable. Food hearty and amazing! Great menu

"Great place and people."

Fantastic stay with brother and dad to celebrate a birthday. Great food, drink, owners really welcoming and friendly. Couldn't fault it, added to which set in the most stunning setting. Really recommend, thank you for a wonderful time.

"An excellent overnight stay while walking the Dales Way"

The George is in the perfect location for staying when walking the Dales Way. We had walked from Grassington and were greeted very warmly by Greg who showed us to our room. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was exeptional, generous portions and not exorbitantly priced. Breakfast the next morning was good and plentiful. The home made yogurt was delicious. We didn't get the name of the young lady who was doing the cooking but she deserves a medal!

The beds were a bit too soft for our liking but that is totally personal. Also the room was very warm, it seems as though the heating was on all night.

"Perfect location to explore the Yorkshire Dales"

JB Priestley described the unique location of Hubberholme and the George Inn and it has lost nothing of its charm. Excellent food in idilic surrounding supplies the main ingredient for a perfect stay, not forgetting the amazingly attentive staff around Ed and his team.
