Nice friendly staff and good food.

The location was a beautiful old Yorkshire Inn of the kind that is getting harder and harder to find. The food was excellent, dinner and breakfast, and the service friendly and relaxed. Great beers too. Loads of parking for 3 motorcycles and whilst our room was for all 3 of us, it was perfect for a one night tour stop. We'll be back I hope.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The staff and owner were very friendly but I feel it is overpriced for the facilities offered. The restaurant was good although the understanding of healthy food was limited. Excellent location for walking false doc

The rooms are small and the instant shower is all furred up. The rooms are not made up every day which is surprising at that price.

Fantastically rustic and characterful old inn. Brilliant hospitality! Delicious pies and very well kept ales.

Accommodation (rooms) a bit dated and basic.
