Woolpack Inn by Greene King Inns

The location was good. The staff are friendly and the food is ok.

The room was on the top floor in the atic, room 10. I am only 5ft and hit my head on the wooden beams a few times. The bathroom was dirty. The skirting board near the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There was dirt around the taps that came off with the wipe of toilet roll.The beams above the bath meant that you couldn't stand up properly in the shower. The kettle had to be boiled on the floor as the lead was not long enough. We didn't sleep very well due to other guest being noisy at 2am and The TV switching itself on at 3am. The toilets in the pub were equally as dirty. Thankfully we only stayed for one night.

Liked this place - friendly, helpful, efficient staff. Nice pub. Lovely breakfast. Nice room. Comfy bed, but a bit small for two people (was on my own). Would go back.

Dinner only served until 9-ish. We needed it later. Oh well. Everything else great.

Breakfast was excellent

The location was reasonably near to where I was meeting friends. Staff were really friendly and helpful, carrying my case upstairs for me. Breakfast was included and was well cooked with plenty of choice. I also had dinner in the restaurant, again excellent choice and quality. The room everything you could want. Comfy bed, plenty of sockets for phones etc and full length mirror.

The only comment I would make is that the bath was very big and I think a walk in shower would be better in the bathroom.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially John who made me feel very welcome.

Lovely rural inn with friendly staff. Ideal location for visiting Bath and the surrounding countryside.

Comfortable but in need of basic maintenance and upgrade.
