Good location for what we needed and great value for money

Rooms quite dated but old building - they were very clean though

Breakfast very good,location great for are bath trip

Hotel a little tired in places

Very welcoming staff. Cosy and characterful historical pub/coaching in. Excellent food. Very good breakfast options. Fab location for exploring North Somerset/Wiltshire/Bath. Really charming village with great walks from the doorstep.

Slightly busy in the evenings (but exactly as I would expect before Christmas). No noise disturbance from customers in the bar/restaurant.

Very good breakfast, plenty of variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were as described, nothing fancy but very clean and tidy.

Staff really attentive to any needs. Evenings were brilliant due to excellent food and drinks. We both looked forward to our breakfast which was delicious and second to none. Again staff were absolutely amazing,nothing was to much for them. FIRST CLASS SERVICE.

Room wasn’t as clean as I expected, but it was an old room and could probably be in need of redecorating. But was excellently situated for 2Days at Longleat.

Breakfast included in room rate was good value, all staff helpful and friendly

The bed was very uncomfortable The breakfast portion was small The road nose was loud The room was dimly lit The bathroom was particularly dusty

Very pleasant pub and lovely food. I would stay again
